For the dairy, beef and arable farm

Concrete for farms
that have to work tomorrow.

Cubicles, slurry, clamps, troughs, robot bases — cast in North Devon to last the lifetime of the shed. SSAFO-ready. Grant-ready. On the lorry when we say it will be.

What we do for farms — in plain English

WCCP supplies precast concrete for UK farms — slurry storage, cattle cubicles, silage clamp walls, milking-robot bases, feed and water troughs, footbaths and AD-plant components. SSAFO 2018-compliant; FETF and SIG-grant compatible quotes. Cast at our Holsworthy yard and delivered nationwide. Recent farms: Outer Hebrides to Bavaria.

What we cast

Six products that make up most of the farm.

We cast more than this — but these are what the yard ships every week. If yours is not on the list, it almost certainly fits under bespoke.

Why farmers choose us

We cast for people who have to milk in the morning.

Four reasons the farms who try us tend to come back when the next shed goes up.

We farm-finish, not factory-finish.

Our team grew up on Devon farms. Drainage, falls, gates, slip — we think about the cow and the man with the scraper, not just the spec sheet.

SSAFO, NVZ and Red Tractor sign-off.

Every slurry job ships with the structural calcs, mix certs and capacity statement your inspector wants to see. We do the paperwork so you do not.

Grant-ready quotes.

We size and quote for FETF and the Slurry Infrastructure Grant in the format the scheme wants. Itemised, dated, and ready to submit.

Delivered on a Hiab.

Our own lorry, our own driver. We unload where the slab is going, not at the gate. UK-wide on planned runs, and we ship into Europe — Germany, the Netherlands and the Outer Hebrides on the recent ledger.

FETF 2026 · Slurry Infrastructure Grant 2026

Grant funding open — we will quote it the way the scheme wants.

SIG opens for stage-two applications and FETF refresh runs alongside. Itemised quotes for slurry storage, capacity statements, structural calcs — all in the format the grant team are looking for.

Common questions

What farmers ask before they order.

Five things that come up most weeks on the phone. If yours is not here, ring the yard.

Is your slurry storage SSAFO 2018 compliant? +

Yes — every slurry store we cast meets the Silage, Slurry and Agricultural Fuel Oil Regulations 2018. We supply the structural calculations, the C40/50 sulphate-resisting mix certificate, and a written capacity statement signed by our engineer for your Environment Agency or NVZ inspection.

How do you size cubicles for my herd? +

We size to the cow, not the catalogue. Holstein-Friesian usually want 1200mm wide (3'11") × 2400–2500mm long (7'10"–8'2"); Jersey crosses are happier at 1100mm × 2300mm (3'7" × 7'7"); beef sucklers need a longer bed at 2600mm (8'6"). We ask for breed, average weight and shed dimensions, then send a CAD layout before we cast a thing.

How much slurry capacity do I need? +

For NVZ compliance you need six months of storage based on herd size, rainfall and dirty-water inputs. As a rough rule, a 200-cow dairy in North Devon needs around 2,500–3,000m³ (about 88,000–106,000 cu ft). We have a calculator and we will run your numbers properly before quoting.

What are typical lead times? +

Catalogue products — cubicles, troughs, panels — are usually 2 to 4 weeks from order. Slurry stores and bespoke clamps run 6 to 10 weeks depending on size and time of year. Spring and autumn are busy; talk to us early.

Do you deliver and offload? +

Yes. We run our own Hiab lorries across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset weekly, and nationwide on planned runs. We offload where the units are going — at the slab, not at the gate — provided the ground is solid and access works.
