Reinforced precast concrete feed troughs in lengths to 3.66 m (12ft), cast in C40/50 to BS 8500-1:2023 with cast-in lifting eyes. Smooth-curved 'J' Trough, Quad Run, Double / Single Sided, 'L' Shaped, Feedstop and Round Top variants — suit dairy parlours, beef sheds and youngstock pens. Catalogue lead time 2–3 weeks; bespoke run-lengths and notch-outs to spec.

What's the difference between the 'J' Trough and the Youngstock 'J'? +
The full 'J' Trough is 3658 × 1150 × 800mm (12ft × 3'9" × 2'7") at 1,740kg with a smooth curved internal surface for easy cleaning. The Youngstock 'J' is the same length but narrower and lower at 3658 × 800 × 700mm (12ft × 2'7" × 2'4") and 1,321kg — sized for youngstock pens.
How do the lifting eyes work? +
Every trough section is cast with lifting eyes for safe handling on the HIAB or teleporter. Sections come in calibrated lengths so they line up — bespoke lengths and notch-outs are available where the drawing calls for it.
Tell me about the Quad Run and the Double Sided. +
The Quad Run (2440 × 1760 × 600mm, 8ft × 5'9" × 2ft, 1,898kg) is the largest trough with an adjustable headrail and gated ends. The Double Sided (2440 × 1180 × 600mm, 8ft × 3'10" × 2ft, 1,476kg) uses our rapid fit rail system for fast assembly on centre-passage two-sided runs.
What are the Feedstop Walls and Round Top Feed Walls? +
Feedstop Walls (3000 × 250 × 600mm, 9'10" × 10in × 2ft, 684kg) have cast-in fork slots so you can re-position them with the loader. The Round Top Feed Walls run up to 21' (6401mm), 500 or 600mm (1'8" or 2ft) tall, 130mm (5in) thick reinforced concrete. The 600mm round top is the front feed face. They have lifting eyes for steel-post panel brackets.

Catalogue sizes ship in 2 to 3 weeks. Bespoke lengths or non-standard notch-outs run 4 to 6 weeks. Most farms want them in for the autumn housing — order by August.
