Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to read about our products, get a quote and contact the yard — whatever device, browser or assistive technology you use.

Our commitment

West Country Concrete Products Limited is committed to making this website accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and our duties under the Equality Act 2010 not to discriminate against disabled users.

What we've done

  • Body text uses Heritage Navy on Concrete White, which meets the WCAG AA 4.5:1 minimum for normal text.
  • Body text is resizable to 200% without breaking the layout.
  • Interactive elements are reachable by keyboard in a logical order.
  • Forms use proper labels, error messages and autocomplete hints.
  • Images have meaningful alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive tech.
  • Headings are nested correctly so screen readers can navigate by structure.
  • The quote form has a no-JavaScript fallback, so you can send an enquiry with scripting disabled.
  • "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.

Known issues

We're aware of the following gaps and are working to fix them:

  • The contact form needs JavaScript to move through its steps — if you have scripting disabled, please email or phone us instead (details below).
  • Some legacy product PDFs are not fully tagged for screen readers — we'll re-export priority documents during 2026.
  • Embedded maps (Google) inherit Google's own accessibility limitations; a text address and phone number is always available alongside.

How we test

The site is checked with automated accessibility tooling and keyboard-only navigation during development. We review this statement, and re-check the site, when it changes significantly.
