What's on site

Capability, plain and listed.

Heavy-duty casting beds

Long-line prestressing beds for wall panels up to 12m. Steel-fixed batters and moulds for cubicles, troughs and bespoke units.

In-house CAD & design

Engineers and detailers working in CAD with downloadable blocks. Drawings to BS EN 1992 (Eurocode 2). We accept DWG, DXF, PDF, RFA, IFC and sketches.

Own batching plant

On-site batching to BS EN 206 / BS 8500-1:2023. CEM I mixes from C32/40 through to C50/60, plus fast-set and self-compacting variants. Sulphate-resisting and low-permeability mixes for slurry, silage and marine work.

Rebar & welding in-house

Cut-and-bend rebar facility (8–16mm diameter) and welding workshop on site. Reinforcement options: rebar, mesh, fibre, prestressed strand — or none where the product doesn't call for it.

Own delivery fleet

3–5 vehicles, mostly our own. 32-tonne artics and rigids. Pre-call before delivery, next-day available. Customer arranges unloading.

QC laboratory

Cube testing in-house on every pour. Records kept on file for 10 years. Available with delivery on request.

Finishes

Smooth, textured and tamped finishes as standard. Spec sheets available as PDF for every product line.

Circular-economy site

Solar PV, LED lighting, water recycling, rainwater harvesting, concrete waste recycled back to aggregate. Co-located with the Severn Trent anaerobic digestion plant.

Next door: Severn Trent biogas

On the same lane as Severn Trent's biogas plant.

Our Chilsworthy site is built on the same lane as Severn Trent Green Power's Holsworthy biogas plant — the UK's first food-waste anaerobic digestion plant, owned by the FTSE-listed water utility. The neighbour relationship is a circular-economy story: food-waste digestate one side of the fence, precast concrete the other.

Concrete is one of the most carbon-intensive materials in construction. Sitting next door to renewable energy isn't a fix on its own — but it's a real start, and a sensible one.
