What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. They let us remember your preferences, keep the site secure, and (with your consent) understand which pages people find useful. We use the term "cookies" loosely to also cover similar storage technologies such as localStorage and pixels.
Essential cookies (always on)
These are strictly necessary for the site to work. Under regulation 6(4) of PECR, they don't require consent.

Analytics & performance (optional)
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages get used. These are not loaded until you say yes below — we ask for your consent regardless of how the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 ultimately treats low-risk analytics, because we'd rather give you the choice.

Marketing cookies
We do not currently run paid advertising or remarketing pixels on this site. If that changes, we'll add them here and ask for your consent before they fire.
How to change your preferences
Click the "Manage cookies" button in the footer at any time to revisit your choices. Your preference is stored in your browser and we ask again after twelve months, in line with ICO guidance.

Legal basis
We rely on regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) 2003 and the consent provisions of the UK GDPR for non-essential cookies. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 may in time relax the consent requirement for certain low-risk analytics — we will continue to ask for consent regardless, as a matter of policy.
