Lorry Workshop Pits.
Precast concrete vehicle inspection pits and workshop pits. Built in C40/50 reinforced concrete with cast-in side recesses for cables, airlines and lighting. HSE guidance on pit safety is in HSG261 — worth reading before you build. Sized for light commercial, HGV or PSV. HSE-compliant detail drawings included; please call to check current yard stock or current lead times.

How big is a vehicle inspection pit? Every WCCP pit is cast with a fixed 1500 × 1100 mm (4'11" × 3'7") cross-section and a negative tread floor. You choose the length — standard lengths run from 3048 mm (10ft) up to 17196 mm (56'5").
Pit weights run from 5,300 kg (11,685 lb) at the shortest standard length to 30,000 kg (66,139 lb) at the longest. Side recesses cast-in for cables, airlines and lighting. Cast-in galvanised steel steps optional.
