Architectural precast panels in board-marked, exposed-aggregate, acid-etched and polished finishes. Manufactured to BS EN 14992, cast in C40/50 concrete to BS 8500-1. Up to 8m × 3.5m (26ft3in × 11ft6in) single-piece. Sample programme 3-4 weeks; production 8-12 weeks after architect sign-off.
Architectural precast lets the architect specify a facade with the depth, mass and shadow of cast stone, at the speed of off-site manufacture. We mould, cast, finish and dispatch from a single Devon yard — one accountable supplier for the whole elevation.

Cast-in fixings (Halfen channels, lifting sockets, anchor plates) coordinated with the structural engineer. We issue a panel-by-panel shop drawing for architect sign-off before mould cutting.
Conformity documentation, mix design, cube-test results and a panel-by-panel cast record traceable to the bed and date are available on request.

What standard do your architectural panels meet? +
We cast architectural panels to BS EN 14992:2007+A1:2012 (precast concrete wall elements) under our BS EN 13369 Factory Production Control. Concrete is C40/50 to BS 8500-1:2023 unless the architect specifies higher. We produce a panel-by-panel test record, and conformity documentation is available on request.
Can you match a sample brick or stone? +
Yes — send us a sample and we will mix to it. Most matches sit inside a four-week sample programme: we cast three trial panels at 600 × 600mm (about 2ft × 2ft), you sign one off, and that becomes the master reference. Pigments are inorganic iron oxides — no fade, BBA-tested for 60 years exterior.
How big can a single panel go? +
The casting bed limits us to about 8m × 3.5m (26ft3in × 11ft6in) as a single piece. Above that we joint — a 12mm (about 1/2 inch) shadow gap or a flush stitch with grout-injected dowels. Lifting is the constraint on most jobs: a 3.5m (11ft6in) tall × 6m (19ft8in) panel weighs around 9 tonnes (about 19,800 lb) and needs a 50-tonne (about 110,000 lb) crane on site.
Are they loadbearing or rainscreen? +
Both. Loadbearing sandwich panels carry floor loads and form the thermal envelope in one piece — useful for school and residential frames. Rainscreen panels hang off a steel or RC frame on cast-in lifting sockets and adjustable Halfen channels behind. We design either to BS EN 1992 with a chartered engineer.
What is a realistic lead time? +
Sample programme: 3-4 weeks. Production after sign-off: 8-12 weeks for a typical school facade, longer for complex geometry or heavily textured finishes. We need the architect drawings issued for construction before we cut moulds — moulds are the long-lead item.
